The Sewing Sisters meet every Wednesday in the Youth room of the church at 9 a.m. Anyone can participate in the weekly gathering, whether you sew or not, whether you have a machine or not. All that is required is a desire to serve others and get to know some wonderful friends. Some of the projects have included making cloth bags that hang on walkers or wheelchairs, fidget quilts, seasonal decorations for tables and for residents of Richland Care Center and Rosewood Manor. The ladies have even pitched in to help alter Christmas pageant costumes on short notice and regularly visit senior living facilities in Richland to share their fun projects. Each week, the ladies share a devotional and then get to work! You are most welcome to come and join them.
