What to Expect

RUMC bldg front & northeast corner, Jun 30, 2009Come as you are. Dress comfortably. Grab a coffee in the foyer, a name tag and bulletin. Friendly people will always be there to greet you and help you find your way.

There is ample parking in the area surrounding our historic building in downtown Richland, and if you need assistance, just phone ahead and let someone know (573-765-3832). We have several street-level entrances and an elevator to take you to the second floor sanctuary if needed. Bathrooms, nursery and children’s church are located on the street level. Safe Sanctuary-certified teachers will always be available a little early to help you situate your kids.

Rev. Mitch Henson leads a blended service with some contemporary music and traditional. There is always a relatable real life way to connect with his message. His sermon series are often accompanied by audio-visuals that enhance the message’s meaning for people of faith living in the 21st Century.

When we have communion to celebrate The Lord’s Supper, all are welcome. You do not have to be a member. Our United Methodist motto is Open Doors, Open Minds, Open Hearts. And we hope you will always feel that to be true of our Richland congregation.

So give us a try. The door is open. 10:30 Sundays. Come on in, we’d love to meet you!
